Russia Today

After reading some Lenin, I figured I'd check what's going on with Russia currently. It turns out that Russia and the US are re-entering the dance in which we've found ourselves for the last 60 years, to a lesser degree. Joe Bidden spoke at a security conference in Munich yesterday, in hopes of (indirectly) furthering the US's control over Russia's nuclear capability, granted other as well. The primary issue broached was that of a furthered nuclear defense shield, encroaching on Russia. Bidden claimed this is solely because of Iran, but especially after the recent discovery of Russia's loving and very close relationship with and support of the Chechnyan President Kadyrov (who's recently been accused torture, extortion, and taking bribes), there is no doubt we are re-entering the dancing act involving our relation with the questionable Russian government.

P.S. It'll be fascinating to see how Bidden/the US tries to justify putting nuclear defenses in Eastern Europe. What if Russia wants to put them in Mexico because "South America has been unstable in the past."
